FIRST LOOK @ MULBERRY FOR TARGET DISAPPOINTS

Mulberry's Target collection debuted on Guilt Groupe at noon today and will most likely (as every designer label for Target does) sell out. However, the "first look" designs that were seen on fashion website, Fashionista.com are under scrutiny from fans of Mulberry saying that they "look like bad Juicy Couture bags" and are "disappointing". Id have to agree with both of these statements! The quality of the Mulberry for Target collection (in these pictures) is not nearly up to par with the Mulberry brand.

Hopefully the bags that were sold on Guilt Groupe were more like the Target advertisements than the ones shown above.

ANNA SUI LAUNCHES NEW COLLECTION OF TIGHTS!

Anna Sui is launching her new collection of tights in a collaboration with Leg Resource.The line is said to be inspired by her runway collection and by the look of it, the tights will be phenomenal. The collection, priced $20-$40 arrives in stores this fall! Sui's pieces are always a mix of different influences so I'm excited to see what she does for the everyday tights. Too bad this is arriving while I'm finishing up school, i could have worn them with my uniform! Oh well, I cant wait to stock up on some anyway!

COACH OPENS A NEW HONG KONG FLAGSHIP!

The accessories industry is buzzing over the launch  of Coach’s new Shanghai flagship store! The opening party kicked off on Thursday night hosted by Coach Chief Lew Frankfort and other top Coach executives. The crowd featured Hong Kong many socials who came out to celebrate the new store and support the charity cause. Coach has also produced an international roster of celebs who have been tapped to design limited edition one-of-a-kind charity tote bags for the occasion. Each bag is up for online auction until May 13 and are on display in Coach stores throughout Asia. Proceeds from the bags will benefit Jackie Chan’s children’s charity.

IM GOING STATEMENT NECKLACE CRAZY!

     Ive been going nuts about statement necklaces ever since i can remember. Ive experimented with wrapping neckalces together, layering necklaces and even turning a pair of old jeans into a jeweled denim bib necklace. So as you can imagine, the more glamourous necklaces the see, the more i will blog about them.

Fave shoe shop: Irregular Choice

When i attended the Katie Gallagher fashion show, i checked out the shoe credits that listed Irregular Choice as its source. I never heard of the store but my friends told me that i was basically born to wear their shoes. So i did my homework and my friends were totally right! I absolutely love their collection of unqiue shoes!

I just bought these ah-mazing shoes last night at Asos.com! I got them for an unbelievable price and I'm soooo excited for them to arrive! Asos is based in England so i hoping that they wont take any longer than the given arrival time. They are the same color as what i imagine my prom dress to be. Kim's Newest Project

Keeping up with the Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian is known for her fashion boutique Dash in both Calabasas, California and Miami,Florida. However, Kim's new venture is purely in cyberspace. ShoeDazzle, co founded by Kim, is a new online shoe styling membership service. Shoe Dazzle promises you to make a selection of shoes for you based on your style that you can purchase for about $40 a month from their website. ShoeDazzle will feature a collection of shoes designed by Michael Antonio and some other various designers. The website will cater to women who prefer a low, mid and pair of high heels. We think its kind of cool.

Ive always wondered how celebs and lingerie models get away with wearing sheer clothing without having a wardrobe malfunction. Katy Perry pulled off this Marchesa dress with out a nip slip, so i wanted the deets on this styling trick. Here is the answer you have all been waiting for: (drum roll) Bristols 6 Nippies! While hosting the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin Katy sported these chic "Like a Virgin" nipple covers. Bristols makes the couture of nipple covers.(I never thought i would ever say that..lol) They carry sequined, lace, satin nippies in a variety of colors. I cant tell you how many times Ive seen girls who need these on red carpets in Manhattan. If you are planning on going bra-less and are going to wear a light dress, please invest in these!

HAUTE OR NOT: DIY FENDI BAGS

If you love paying someone for no reason and love ending up doing all the work, you'll love this!

Fendi is set to release a limited edition "Baguette Mezzo Punto". The box set includes a canvas bag, diagrams and illustrations for embroidering the Fendi logo.
The concept is a DIY bag that YOU stitch the logo onto.
The "Do It Yourself" bag will be presented in December at Design Miami/Basel.
Fendi hasn't said how much the set is to cost but, if its anything over $50 dollars i think i will purge. Who wants to pay to make their own Fendi bag?! Leave it to the professionals ladies! What do you think? Is a DIY Fendi bag haute or not?
